Bill Murray Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 (edited) So suggesting Eli gets dealt to Jacksonville (edit: citing Matt Hassleback suggesting he gets traded). I know everyone is going to throw up on this, but should we consider him for a year? Our defense is a contender, and he can at least keep opposing defenses off the line of scrimmage. He could open up room for Shady & Ivory to run. All we need is to score 14 to 17pts a game / week to win...why not go for it. I suspect JA could learn a thing or two from him in the meantime. PLUS, he would get to play against Brady twice! Could be interesting... https://nypost.com/2018/10/15/eli-manning-trade-could-save-him-and-the-giants-espn-qb/ Edited October 15, 2018 by Bill Murray
Billsandhorns Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 There are more problems on offense than just QB
DCOrange Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 To be clear, he isn’t actually on the block according to this article unless I missed something. It’s just Matt Hasselbeck saying they should trade him. 1 1
Boatdrinks Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Might work after 3-4 weeks but the season will be over by then. He’ll go to JAX and reunite with Coughlin.

DuckyBoys Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Eli cant get it done with Saquon, two good wrs and a good young TE How is he going to do anything here 2
BillsFan130 Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Only thing valuable Eli would bring is a great veteran presence that hopefully Allen could learn from. I don’t think it’s smart to trade draft picks for just a veteran presence though 1
mykidsdad Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 After we bring Eli to town we should trade Peterman for a 1st rounder...then we can all wake up...
JPP Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Have you watched Eli play lately?? Guy is 38 yrs old....he should of called it a day 2 years ago

Boca BIlls Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Eli cant play well with good WRs and a top RB... he would look just like Peterman here.

Rc2catch Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 He’s done. Don’t matter where he went in this hypothetical scenario. He doesn’t have it anymore. I would expect this is his last year. He doesn’t even look like he cares at all either. Just there to collect his check

buffalobillswin Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 NO MORE TRADING FOR OTHER TEAM'S REJECTS!
K-9 Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Eli stayed one year too long as it is. He is just no longer capable of helping a “contender” who is just a QB away from making the playoffs, let alone a team that is far more away than just a QB on offense.
