He had one nice throw the Benjamin for 39, and a dump off to McCoy for 22. His other 9 completions combined went for 23 yards. All Allen has proven capable of doing is throwing wide receiver screens and dump offs around the LOS. As you said, if we get sacked, or take a penalty, we might as well punt because we can't convert 1st downs after we get behind the sticks because we're so awful at passing the ball. Ducasse has improved but still not good enough. need to see if Teller can play so we can determine if we need to replace just the right side or the whole line besides Dawkins.

Expand I doubt he jumps into the starting lineup ahead of lineman who have been active on game days.

Expand The line has been ok, but they need it to be better than ok. I think the #1 need is a center to anchor it going forward during the Allen era.

Expand EJ and TT and now this cannot look more than three yards past the line with confidence

Expand That should have been considered in week one since he hasn't dressed since then and gets limited reps on wed,thur and friday.Chalk it up as another McD wonder/blunder.
