I'm not saying he's handled Watt consistently - but in their first matchup he held the edge well. Sunday - anybody's guess. It matters more the blocking sets we'll be calling, but he'll be one on one with him the majority of the day. Moving a TE out there would help on some downs, but would otherwise be a waste of a guy. 14 hours ago, Comebackkid said: Actually the run game is what saves our bacon against the titans... No run game, not the same as titans. It did, no question about it. But it did so in an otherwise offensive slopfest of a game. 13-12 final score...not exactly offensive production there.

BillsVet Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 As long as Allen doesn't throw the ball directly into JJ Watt's hands for a pick 6 he can't do any worse than a former 1st round pick. 4 hours ago, ShadyBillsFan said: https://www.buffalobills.com/news/how-shaq-lawson-bought-in-and-renewed-his-commitment In the 2018 offseason the defensive lineman got in the best shape of his life. He got his body fat percentage to an all-time low and dropped 15 pounds before reporting to training camp. A strong preseason followed. His renewed commitment to the sport he loves and the teammates and coaches he respects reached critical mass last week. In an effort to honor a friend while not interrupting his preparation for the Titans, Lawson’s professionalism reached a new level. And it's showing McCoach and Beane thought so much of Lawson they signed Trent Murphy and not flip Lawson inside on passing downs. Lawson is a 40 front LDE and in year 3 of his career not an every down type. This despite all the work and personal tragedy he's endured.
