Hard to believe our horrible potus is potus

Only if you weren’t paying attention during 8 years of Obama. It was a natural and predictable correction if you don’t subscribe to the liberal media’s drivel.

Ah, I see the confusion.

You indicated you liked him even more because he dropped out, and as a conservative, I personally hope he drops out again in 2024 making you really really like him more, and so on.

Second paragraph moved past that to PB and his future.  Personally, I think he’s a pretty boring dude, but IF he’s to be successful in the future, he’s got to work on his charisma and find a way to appeal to black voters and a wider base of voters. If he can do that, and if he moves to the center to appeal to independents, he seems like a nice enough guy to draw in some voters and have a shot at it.  As for his resume, it’s obviously pretty flimsy, which is problematic in general (unless you’re the heir apparent to the dems) and what’s on there now is decidedly unappealing to minority voters according to minority voters.  so, to summarize:

1. Be less boring, like a LOT less boring (Get a tat, maybe play Mott the Hoople at campaign rallies?);

2. Gain experience  beyond being assistant to the associate Tax Collector in Muncie, Indiana;

3. Find a way to be viewed as less of a bigot to minority communities;

4. Move to the middle;

5.  Be less boring;

And of course , the big one that they won’t talk about on CNN ; be a lot less gay in public. It’s the real reason why he does so poorly with the black vote.

You mean kissing his husband/wife in public is frowned upon?

@KayAdams please reconsider your wildest exaggerated statement that citizens today are obliged to "national defense"  ....22 trillion dollars borrowed since ReaGUN 1982 for illegal wars in 160 countries is NOTHING RESEMBLING national defense.....this is ALWAYS the # 1 fact when considering who to vote for President and only WWW.HOWIEHAWKINS.US is telling the truth how to grow the economy paying back China and reprogramming 90 % of that money for green jobs selling off NATO and USA assets to countries so they can defend themselves....it is so sad people here are so incompetent and deluded into the blueREDS redBLUES duopoly farce of differences between Bernie and TrumpOLINI when both fly F35s out of Vermont and give billions to insurance CEOs for nothing when we could have healthcare for much less money

  Whistling in the dark?  Overwhelming anti-Trump sentiment?  Where?  Greenwich Village?  Haight-Ashbury in SF?  Cooked polls?  Communist sympathizers sensing that now is their time to strike?   No one politician is going to have 100 percent of the people behind them but to say that there is this soon to be mobilized majority against Trump is a stretch.  The left is looking ridiculous trying to tar and feather Trump with whatever is in immediate reach no matter how non-sensical it may be such as with the Corona Virus.  Try some dignity for a change and see where it takes you guys.

This isn't even a policy argument...

Hell... it's not even arguable.

His approval rating has never been over 50%. His Disapproval rating hasn't been below 50% since like day 60 of his Presidency.

Dignity? Tell that to the guy in the Oval Office. Maybe you guys can try some reality on occasion rather than the Alternate one you've all made a base camp in.

No.  They actually polled this and there was little difference between black and white voters in SC when it came to voting for a gay candidate.  Candidates like Hillary and Biden simply showed up in black communities and listened to their wants and needs for years so they "earned" their vote.  Even Bernie's support among African Americans has increased since he built some relationships with them four years ago.  Buttigieg, Klobachar, and Warren were at a disadvantage from the beginning.

Guy points out that Bloomberg goes everywhere with armed security but wants to restrict civilian access to guns, asks if Bloomberg’s life is more important than his and his family’s.

Bloombergs response: I get 50 death threats a day, and some of them are real. That happens when you’re a mayor of a major city, a billionaire, or running for president.

translation: yes, my life is more important than yours and your family’s.

I’m not sure that translation fits. How many death threats do you get? Probably none. Expecting high profile people to live low profile lives is not realistic.

But restricting the way low profile people live is not American.

That wasn't the translation.  It was, do as I say, not as I do.  He's reinforcing the adage that different rules should apply to high profile people.

  You can kid your small group of like minded friends but you can't kid the board here.  An approval rating does not guarantee one result over one or more other results when it comes to an election.  You are whistling in the dark as I said before.  You are so frightened of one scenario happening that you need to rationalize reasons as to why it will not happen.  All that aside anybody that has taken an introductory statistics course in college can tell you that information can be embellished, manufactured, withheld, or manipulated to produce a desired result.

I think what he’s saying is let Bloomberg live the way he wants to and regular Americans live the way they want to.

bloomberg is asserting that he should be able to live the way and take precautions he’s thinks are necessary, but average Americans should not be afforded that same privilege.

KRUISER’S MORNING BRIEF: Democrats Circle the Wagons for Crazy Joe the Wonder Veep.

“The message is clear: establishment Democrats are still buying the ‘Biden electability’ argument, despite his increasingly erratic and mistake-prone behavior on the campaign trail. That they’re willing to throw in with a candidate who can’t go an hour without making an incredibly stupid mistake rather than rally behind Bernie indicates that they think socialism is a losing issue.”
