The USA is a remarkable Western country in that it has never had a viable Socialist party. When - not if - Bernie gets screwed again, I think that will change. The far leftist loonies will splinter off into the American Socialist party.

The young proponents of Socialism will join in and deny the Democrat party the “feeder” stream of new voters to their ranks. The old Dem party will shrink and suffer. Many of the moderate blue collar Dems are already in the Republican tent.

Historians may look back on Trump as the greatest iconoclast in the history of the world. He defeated the Bush Family machine, the Clinton family machine, the Deep State machine, and split the Democrat party in two.

All this was/will be accomplished by him simply challenging us all to Make America Great Again. It was genius. The Dems had no answer other than to soil their pantaloons in public.

By our very nature we are set up to have a 2 party system. Multi party political systems lend themselves to a parliamentary system where coalitions are common.

I keep wishing Trump would hire her for Press Secretary.  She'd be great in those press conferences.

It’s an impossible job, and most Presidents run through several as a result.  It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if she wound up holding the position at some point.

<snip>  I did construction and painting and at one point was just banging on people's doors to see if I could do any odd jobs.

<snip>.  There are plenty of options for people willing to learn and do the work, even if it's not what you want, or you consider it beneath you.

I learned house painting in high school working for my uncle. Not what I wanted to do.
When I went off to college one option was to paint for extra money. I opted for other jobs because I wasn't going to college to become a house painter.
After graduating from college any time I needed money I always went could rely on house painting to make a living or make some mad money.
Lessons learned 1) Where there's a will there's a way.
                               2) Learning a trade is a valuable asset.

I put myself through school working two minimart jobs and the GI Bill. And some loans. If there's a will there's a way.

Same here.....full course load for the most part between 30-40 credits while also putting in 30+ hours a week at my job. I was fortunate they let me schedule my hours around school schedule. I had to take an extra year, but made it through.

This is terrific. And this is primarily why I could never, ever support a Democrat, let alone a communist. The idea that Americans are owed something simply because some people have it better than others is nothing short of a ridiculous money grab by people in power.

Leftists have never been good about thinking things through, which is why they'll never be smart enough to understand that if you take away the incentive to earn as much as you can, you run out of other people's money very, very quickly.

I too put myself through school, not one dime from anyone else other than some small student loans which were paid back.  Finished in 4 years and worked nearly full time (nearly 40 hours) many weeks while in school buying/selling/fixing cars.  I learned the trade from my Dad and could not have done so without him so had that advantage but the work, the determination was mine and I commuted to school.  It was hard work especially in the Buffalo outdoors in winter.

It can still be done today but it's tougher given the cost of tuition at a lot of schools.  In Illinois the in-state school system is poorly organized with most of the schools in rural areas where not much of the population can commute which makes it even more expensive.  Really dumb that this state hasn't built another 4 year school in the Chicago burbs.

@KayAdams thank you for standing up to the so called conservatives here and boosting Bernie agenda..... I cannot vote for him because he has betrayed that agenda decades ago and just now is selling human needs programs.... as for our founding fathers most were racist or radical capitalists brutalizing slaves or murdering aboriginals for their land....freedom from King George meant freedom from the Hudson Bay Corporation oligarchs who today would equal Bloomberg TrumpOLINI and Steyer....Bernie would be closest to Thomas Jefferson

It's going to get to a point where Hillary will come out on Sunday and ask all primary voters in Minnesota vote for Klobachar and all voters in Massachusetts to vote for Warren.
