Expand I've yet to hear any Dem talk about any sensible solution to the most obvious issues we have which are fiscal (budgets and deficits) and illegal immigration. Expand "Cannon" is plural but I looked it up and I guess "cannons" is ok. As to the point of firing such cannon, I have no idea how Trump will attack Biden. All the things people care about, healthcare, taxes, the environment, foreign policy are weaknesses with the majority of people for Trump. He has spent so much time trying to hold his base together that he hasn't even tried to expand his appeal to the majority of voters. Sure, we could debate that, but there isn't anything except the economy, that Trump can crow about, and really, Biden can run on the exact same economy Trump has.

Hard line for them to walk if true as they got hammered for their favoritism for Hillary in the last cycle so they'll have to be more subtle in their biased efforts this time around.

Although Bernie's been pitching the same ideas since the 70's. The biggest difference between the two is Warren is focused on highly regulated capitalism while Bernie is a socialist at heart who wants to create a set of universal economic rights. Both are to the left of the neoliberal corporatism that defined the democratic party since Clinton took office. Trump running to the left of Hillary with his anti free trade rhetoric hurt her campaign more than her campaign (and most Republicans) would like to admit when it came to the "Blue Wall" states.
