I get the sense that Kim doesn't care for Joe Biden. I am sure it is because he'll be lots tougher on North Korea, so they fear Creepy Uncle Joe. <_<

North Korean Media Lashes Out at ‘Reckless, Senseless’ Biden

As the 2020 U.S. presidential race heats up, North Korea’s official KCNA news agency has jumped into the fray, calling aspiring Democratic contender Joe Biden a "snob bereft of elementary quality as human being".

"He is self-praising himself as being the most popular presidential candidate. This is enough to make a cat laugh," the agency writes in a commentary piece that also denigrates Biden for his university grades and for falling asleep at a speech by President Barack Obama in 2011.

KCNA also called the former vice president a "fool of low IQ" and said he "had the temerity to insult the supreme leadership" of North Korea at a recent campaign event.

</snip>

So, KCNA out-Trumped Trump with the insults. That is an accomplishment.

KCNA's hyperbolic nonsense is always good for a laugh. Especially when their insults and boasts don't translate well into English.

I always enjoyed reading it. Not only was it good for a laugh, but it is good for insight. I spent a lot of time studying their negotiating tactics a while back. By reading it, you can see shifts in their official positions on issues. Not on the surface, but by looking at how the rhetoric shifts over time. It was pretty insightful and gave you a good look into them.

Stupid Trump meme aside...

Beto wants to address abortion via executive power and judicial activism, but not legislative action.  And Trump's abusing power?  :wallbash:

I ***** hate Democrats.

2 thing.

1. Birth control is covered in the Affordable Care Act.  He doesn't know that?

According to HealthCare.Gov Food and Drug Administration, approved contraceptive methods prescribed by a woman’s doctor are covered. This includes:

  • Barrier methods used during intercourse like diaphragms and sponges
  • Hormonal methods, like birth control pills and vaginal rings
  • Implanted devices, like intrauterine devices (IUDs)
  • Emergency contraception, like Plan B® and ella®
  • Sterilization procedures
  • Patient education and counseling

2. It's an election year and abortion is being heated up by both sides. Coincidence?

Every presidential primary ends with one winner and a lot of losers. Some might argue that one or two once-little-known candidates who overperform low expectations get to enjoy a form of moral victory.

There aren't any.  As soon as one election is over and the winners sworn in, the race to stay in office or throw the bum out office begins.

Warren was all but dead, and she is now at 9%? And Harris gained 6% after not moving off 8% since she declared?  And Bernie is at 14%? <_< Ummm yeah.  Is this the beginning of the unlikeable Harris moving up? (She was who I thought was the "chosen one" since the start of this circus.)

Democratic 2020 hopeful Pete Buttigieg, a mayor from Indiana who served in Afghanistan as a Navy Reserve intelligence officer, says such pardons would hurt the standing of the U.S. military abroad and make troops less safe.

Tibs, in general do you have positive views of the US Military?
