Minorities are more likely to vote for people they feel represent them.  The Clinton's are still popular the black community which is why Hillary dominated in states with a higher black population percentage compared to states Bernie won like South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia where she received over 75% of the vote.

Maybe southern minorities just don't buy into the whole socialism thing?

Never said that because it would be factually inaccurate as 17% prefer Harris or Booker.  My point was to illustrate the problem Bernie's going to have with people of color.

What you said was Biden and Bernie were way out in front because the state is mostly white.

That sounds a lot like they're voting for Biden and Bernie because they're white.

I should've been more clear as it did seem I implied that.  Bernie will fare worse in states that have a larger African American percentage of Democratic primary voters.  Harris and Booker will likely perform better in those states.  Therefore, the New Hampshire poll should be taken with a grain of salt.

I doubt it as their platforms weren't that different.  I think this article accurately reflects why African Americans preferred Hillary over Bernie in such states.

Bold Warren position here.

Nice to see a candidate really put themselves out. So many people believe that science is actually magic, but only Warren has the boldness to say, "NO! Science is real, and I believe in it!"

Of course, she only has to believe in 1/1024 of science to be a scientist...

He would have beaten Trump IMHO.

Probably as they both ran as populists where one scapegoated the rich and the other scapegoated immigrants.  Both railed against losing manufacturing jobs from trade deals, called for national infrastructure bills, vowed not to touch entitlement programs, pushed for getting troops out of Syria/Iraq/Afghanistan, were against the Iraq War, and didn't take any PAC money.  He would've carried the three "blue wall" states that Trump took.

I guess this is the right place for this. ..Trump 2020 seems a foregone conclusion if this is how Dems think now.

BTW, dude i follow on twitter posted this, I have  no idea where it came or the veracity of such claims, so take it for what it is worth

They're not mutually exclusive options.

I hope his state goes Democrat, but Trump wins the popular vote, and his head explodes.
