The left doesn’t just want to tax your income and your outgo, they want to tax your wealth assets. They started already with the ObamaCare abortion. They can assess a 3% tax (IIRC) on the sale of your house to help pay for that garbage. Some lefties have recommended seizing your IRA and 401k retirement assets in exchange for government bonds. Now some shitforbrains politicians are actually talking in the public forums about seizing private sector assets to pay for their asinine pie-in-the-sky plans to make the people with NO skin in the game have a few more “crumbs”. I sure hope they harp on that when they meet with their Wall St and Hollywood multi-millionaires. “I’m going to sock it to those rich bastards!” Should play well there. If you go back at his record from his early days in Vermont he has become less radical and has moved closer to a "democrat" than a "socialist." When he ran for Senator the party worked to suppress any primary challengers. He could get away with calling himself a liberal democrat, but he doesn't want to be seen as part of the establishment. It's like if Rand Paul wanted to call himself a libertarian instead of a libertarian Republican he could get away with it.
