Look at Goff, look at Trubisky.  Both played similar to what Allen has done and have both improved in year 2 with better weapons around them.

That's my take here.

It seems like people are setting up this idea that we're gonna have to wait YEARS before we know what we have with Allen. If we start seeing progress, we're all gonna be happy. That doesn't mean he's gonna light the league on fire. A)He's a rookie. B) The supporting cast is not good. That does not mean we'll have zero clue about Allen if he doesn't show signs of progress. At some point, if it doesn't work, we'll have to look elsewhere. That may be a ways off, but it's not 2025.

Its not going to take 3 years.  The Bills will know after year 2 at the latest, especially if he’s starting.  If there’s not enough improvement it puts McDermott and Beane on the hot seat.  They’ll make a move to save their jobs.

Good luck with that  Barring some kind of meltdown hes going to be here for years to come.  Goff was horrible year one and turned it around. Bradshaw was awful for years.  He's a smart guy, the pre snap stuff and knowing where to go with the football is going to get better.

Bradshaw is a horrible example.  Coaches in the NFL could lose for years and still keep a job.  You get 4 years in the NFL, maybe 3.  QB’s get less time.

Hey he’s 2-2 as the starter, not good but not great.

The Bills are 2-2 with him as the starting QB, but that's not what we're talking about here.

for a reference  as to Cast   See page 13    the output is not much "worse" than 2016 and 2017

It’s confirmed: Zay Jones is the biggest bust in living memory

Keep hanging your hat on he's a rookie and rookies make mistakes. That's true but he's doing simple things really poorly. A better run organization would've tried to put him in a better position.

Don’t say that.. Put your rose colored glasses on and say something good

I feel bad for the kid. He shouldn't be playing. His weapons aren't good enough to overcome his many deficiencies and we're trusting Brian Daboll and David Culley to turn him into a good QB?

Both teams dumped the previous hc to get the most out of them.

This just in.... rookie qb josh Allen is struggling and it’s not just his supporting cast. Even Aaron Rodgers didn’t look so hot in his limited rookie action.

Decent podcast. Essentially they think accuracy is impossible to correct, which doesn’t bode well for Allen. They do mention that Allen may have a lot less reps than his contemporaries, so maybe there is hope, but they don’t seem optimistic.

A good point made in the podcast, what QB has ever really improved their accuracy in the league? The only answer they could muster was Aaron Brooks, which again lends itself to Allen being SOL.

Watching that low throw to Benjamin on the crossing route has be thinking that it was Benjamin who was too deep.  He runs a crossing route at 18 yards which I would think needs to be at 15 or 20.  If its 15 then the ball would have hit him right in the chest.

The miss to Jones over the middle was vey Taylor like. Allen seemed to rooster and wanted to throw it but maybe thought if he stepped into it the defender would hit his legs?? as that defender was very fast jet speeding into him. Or did not want to throw across his body and have a TO at that point. Hard to say.

Hits him in the chest then hits the ground as Josh was just trying to help him use his hands more.?
