Threedollabills Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 (edited) Allen scored highest on the Wonderlic (37) and so has a high intellectual ceiling for reading coverages and changing at the line, etc. BUT OMG HE HAS THE TENTH WORST PASSER RATING IN THE LEAGUE (60.4) WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY LAST AMONG STARTERS AND JUST BARELY AHEAD OF TWO OTHER BILLS: PETERMAN (0.0) AND BOJORQUEZ (39.6)! Hilarious stats for fins and pats and jets fans, but utterly embarrassing for us. If his head doesn't crack open like Leaf's did he's got a shot next year with a FA line and N'Keal Harry. Any thoughts on this statistical nightmare? http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=0&season=2018&seasonType=REG&d-447263-n=1&d-447263-o=1&conference=null&d-447263-p=1&statisticCategory=PASSING&d-447263-s=PASSING_PASSER_RATING Edited October 8, 2018 by Threedollabills
Albany,n.y. Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 QB ratings are as worthless as used toilet paper. 3
MichFan Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 OMG WHAT A BUST TRADE HIM NOW SUCH A NIGHTMARE 1 3
H2o Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 6 minutes ago, MichFan said: OMG WHAT A BUST TRADE HIM NOW SUCH A NIGHTMARE Trade? No one wants him I'm sure. I say we just release him and take the entire cap hit this year with the rest so we have more $$$ for FA next year. Seriously though? This is stupid. He's played 4 games and is 2-2 with basically all 2nd, 3rd, and 4th string WR's on any other team in the NFL. Is he lighting up the league? No, but what did you expect. He has work to do. If we're still having this same convo by the middle of next year, and we clearly have better talent at the skill positions, THEN there is a problem because the game is not slowing down for him at all. If you watch the overhead cam of the WR's running routes they are getting absolutely 0 separation on most plays. 2 2
Mickey Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Hmmm.....4 games, yeah that seems like a sufficient sample size from which to derive useful statistics. We should cut him, stats don't lie do they? 3

He hasnt been a turnover machine like some rookies are. The odds of him being good are in his favor- relax and dont buy into the bs. 1
Mr. WEO Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Let's guess OP's Wonderlic! I'll say it never gets above Kelvin Benjamin's..... 2 3 1

We have a habit on this board of viciously attacking people who say anything that we don't agree with. So, as some replies have said, it is only four games, and his first four games in the league. Let's give it more time! 1

quinnearlysghost88 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 (edited) remember when everyone was really cool, calm and collected in the preseason. so level-headed. he's just a rookie. we need to give him time. let him learn. it's going to be a down year. everyone predicting between 3-8 wins. fast forward to week 5. 2-3 record. Allen is a bust. We should've drafted Mahomes. Also, Josh Allen is tied for 8th in the NFL for rushing TDs. Let's compile more stats that don't mean anything.
