Jim was historically known to have a very very thin bench… 

 

literally 7-8 players on a good year … But some of those good teams in the 2009-2014 era were very deep

Bell or Westry at the 3?  I say Bell starts bc he’s the better shooter, and Westry is first off the bench.  Judah at the point and Starling at SG.

Do they want defense or offense? Chance is a better defender and rebounder 

 

Bell is the better offensive weapon

I’m throwing it out there what do you think wants ? A versatile defender who can defend 1-3 … or a potential volume scorer ?

 

it’s a good conundrum 

 

I think chance is good at a lot not elite at much … bell can really stroke it… he mite edge out bell

Never know I guess.  Here’s my guess for starting lineup.  First game of the regular season.  I could definitely see Red playing more players than JB has in the past, as I truly believe he wants to get back to a more fast paced, “run and gun” offense.  I could see 9 or 10 players getting burn.

If Chance is 100% healthy, I suspect he'll be a better offensive player than Bell too, but shooting is definitely an edge for Bell and may make him a necessary starter for us given the other guys expected to start.

 

First time in years that I'm legitimately excited about a Syracuse basketball team. Pretty high ceiling for this group if things click, and it feels like they should probably be back in the tournament next season.

I doubt it will happen, but sort of wonder if Edwards even could transfer back at this point.
