How can those people be passionate about one team and not the other.

Expand Some people on here have no ties to WNY and other's might have family ties but never lived in the area or moved away when they were really young. Hockey isn't very big in many parts of the U.S. so I think that's where you are seeing the disconnect. Just my theory. But in Buffalo people are very passionate about the Sabres as well.
