RobbRiddick Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 That's amazing, I'd honestly forgotten all about Nate Orchard. It never even occurred to me at any point in the last few weeks to wonder why I haven't seen him on the field. Did they only bring him in so he could watch the Packers game and actually see the correct way to sack Allen?

I think all of the Rookies have shown growth over the first four games and T. Johnson is no different, IMHO. Sirles would be a big help and I'm good with that and I don't really see why the Bills wouldn't want 5 CBs so keeping Gaines AND T. Jons active makes more sense to me. Not to mention the new Dontae, which as I said, I think could be more for Safety help that CB, but only the Bills know their plans for the time being.

SCBills Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 (edited) It certainly looks like they are trying to get the defense right this year and simply evaluate offensive personnel. The defense, aside from Kyle and perhaps Lorax, could all be back next year. Lots of young talent and talent in/entering their prime on this defense. On offense, we all know, and they certainly know, that most of these guys won’t be here next year. Outside of Allen and Dawkins, I couldn’t guarantee you anyone else is here in 2019. It would be tough to throw D. Johnson out there after only 3 practices. The only way he plays is if Gaines and T Johnson have setbacks. 1

That would involve running the football, which, even though we have two capable runners and a rookie QB, we refuse to do, even though when we do, it's actually positive. 1

They’re not going to fix their offenSe with a broken lawn chair, an umbrella with a jammed up frame, and a touque with a small hole in it. They’re just churning the bottom of their roster and hoping to hit on low risk, higher ceiling injury recoveries or guys who were on the bubble of someone else’s cuts. 1

With one possible exception there just aren't any 1 or 2 wide receivers walking the streets this time of year. The only purpose signing someone right now would be to make some people ditch their Zay Jones jerseys....but no appreciable difference in talent.

Just line up all 10 WR's and Allen. We are good to go This made me think, has any team ever have tight ends check in on the offensive line(guard, or tackle) to set up screen passes. Tight ends generally move a bit better than guards and tackles and on a screen pass you want the rush to almost get to the qb.
