All_Pro_Bills Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Given the terrible offensive performance from the Bills yesterday I thought it might be a good time for a lighter topic. After the 22-0 game was mercifully over, I think I figured out what the problem is with the Bills. It's my father-in-law. You see, the only Bills game he didn't watch with us this year was the Vikings game. I'm not a superstitious person but he just seems to be bad luck. My wife thinks so too and that's her father we're talking about. Yesterday, he leaves the room and 30 seconds later Poyer made his interception. Back from the bathroom and its the Bills 3 and out! Anybody else have a friend or relative that they hate watching the game with for some reason? 1
teef Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 i watched the game by myself while doing paper work, so i think i'm screwed.
Clyde Smith Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Yeah, I tell my girlfriend to stay home until the game is over. No haters and bad vibes while i'm watching the game.
zow2 Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 I'm usually more superstitious about which room in my house I watch the game. But the Vikes game i watched by myself in the bedroom. Didn't do that for Green bay and is cost us I'm going to the Tennessee game so I can't sit and hide from that one!
iinii Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 No but if you could get your father-in-law to stay away and BuffaloRush to bet 5k on every game, I think the process would be much better.
K-9 Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 I never watch the games. Makes it easier to post my thoughts with a clear head afterwards.
Shaw66 Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 My wife is always telling me what's wrong with the Bills when we watch, but I can't tell her to go away or I lose my benefits. 1

Bing Bong Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 It doesn't matter.. I was superstitious so I tried everything. Bills bar, sports bar, home w friends home no friends.. I think sports bar has had the best luck past few years. Bills bar is a horrible sad curse
clayboy54 Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 I always watch every game with my wife. After a game like yesterday, we both ceremoniously burn the clothes we were wearing during that game.
row_33 Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 third housecat waiting for something to happen after two decades? (RIP Dinah and Casey)
chris heff Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 I’m not superstitious about with whom I watch the game, but I am about what I’m wearing.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 (edited) Sunday ticket at home with the wife we keep it simple and I always tell her to never say we won until it over Edited October 1, 2018 by ShadyBillsFan
EmotionallyUnstable Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Last week vs Minnesota my wife my homemade fried Stromboli. It was delicious and so was the game. Unfortunately, she made them again on Sunday. Looks like we need a new recipe.
sleeby Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 My hound dog gets a treat everytime the bills score. Yeaterday I felt bad and so hooked him up after the game ended.
T master Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Yes if i watch they lose, if i don't watch they lose so i'll stick to the later !!
Bills4everNY Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Not superstitious about who I watch with, but when I watch a Bills game at home, I don't want anyone asking me if the Bills are winning. Almost everytime someone asks and I say yes, 5 minutes later the other team scores and takes the lead.
