I wouldn't ding them too badly for the 2nd half of the Vikings game when they clearly dialed things back after taking the 27-0 lead into the 2nd half.  Yesterday OTOH.......

I don't know how you fix this offense.  But I'm flying up to watch the Tennessee game..  and If the O is moving backwards all game I will be very unhappy..

I have the ticket so when the Bills are on the road I see a lot of NFL football. I get really pissed when I see wide receivers running wide open, backs out of the backfield running a crossing pattern, wide open, actual use of tight ends and teams with multiple wide receivers who not only can get open but they can also catch.

An NFL team (my team)  gets shut out!

Fix the offensive line and the offense will start to get better.

To me they are not doing a good job of trying to get the ball to our best bets on offense.  If you want to move the ball you have to find ways to get Shady involved.  That's just the bottom line.  If you want your QB to feel more comfortable and stop try to play hero ball you are going to have to start chipping the edges and maybe even using an upback to check the middle due to the line just being a horrid mess.

I don’t know how they will build the offense. Pretty much everyone on this offense needs to go except for Allen, Dawkins and maybe Marcus Murphy (young and cheap) apart from that we need to rebuild the whole thing. This will take a few years if we can accomplish it.

All we can do is wait on Josh and see how fast he grows.  If he learns from the Packer's game then there is hope.  It is inevitable that he will have rough patches and this past Sunday's game will not be the last for the season.  Almost certain that we will be under .500 at the mid-point of the season unless other parts of the offense have an epiphany.

The new regime thinks it takes 5 years to rebuild a football team.

They wont make it past year 3 with performances like that yesterday.

They get 3, bottom line.

Hmm? Let's see.  Sean McVay as the innovative play designer on a team that has invested heavily in a strong supporting cast to help Goff shine.  Please let this be the plan in 2019.

No team has 5 All Pro's on their OL so if we can find a quality center and RT the rest of the problems may be maskable.  4 or 5 quality replacements of the starting 11 on offense will yield big improvement.

Rex ruined a top 5 defense. McBeane has dismantled a top 10 offense.

Like I've posted many times, none of this matters if Allen is a franchise QB. All the losses and wasted picks won't matter if he can play at a high level for years. McBeane will keep their jobs this year and will get 2019 to prove they know what they are doing.

So far overall the roster is far worse under their control but with a few areas of upgrade - DB,S,PK. The dead money is on them. The cap space is them as well. If they spend and draft well it still won't matter if Allen is a bust.

Allen was my top choice. I'm ok but not happy with his play so far. I'm worried about missing some guys who were open on short throws while running or with some pressure and the dumb INT before the half. But the line is so bad and the WR are so bad that it is near impossible to judge.

Yes, the Bills finished #12 in scoring in 2015, and then tied for #10 in scoring in 2016.

But this was done almost entirely by running the ball.  During those same years, our passing game was in the bottom-quarter of the league in every measurable statistic.

Whenever the Defense struggled and we were forced to move the ball through the air, Tyrod Taylor was completely worthless.

Rex Ryan ruined a Top 5 defense, which could have gotten better if the players were used to their strengths.  Instead, he stubbornly forced his system onto talent that didn't fit the scheme.  In contrast, Brandon Beane/Sean McDermott were forced to dismantle the offense, because we had reached our ceiling with Taylor - and it clearly wasn't good enough to consistently win in today's NFL.  Not to mention, a run-heavy approach wasn't sustainable long-term anyway, with Eric Wood and Ritchie Incognito retiring, and LeSean McCoy reaching 30 years old.

Unfortunately, the only way to upgrade the QB position (unless you could win the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes) was to draft one in the First Round.  And 95% of the time, doing this results in a team going backwards before it goes forwards.  The Bills, Jets and Cardinals are all starting rookie QBs this year, and all have been much worse than a year ago.  The Browns have looked better in Baker Mayfield's brief time, but they were 1-31 over the last two years and had nowhere to go but up.

they did get a great for his generation and he left, and a lot of flops at high picks that seemed fine at the time...

Our offense is nothing right now. But given what McD has said, I believe he’d rather our offense be built around the run.

Get ahead of sticks - less likely to have penalties running than pass blocking - less likely to get turnovers - set up PA...

Seems smart especially with a rookie QB.

Looking around the league yesterday there is no doubt the Bills have the worst offense in the entire country. Pee wee, high school ,college, powder puff......  Will we ever see an NFL offfense? Will we ever see a real NFL receiver?  The rules in the Nfl favor offenses and here in Buffalo the Bills can"t get a freakin field goal.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Some point totals from yesterday, Houston 37, Colts 34, Bears 48, Bengals 37, Falcons 36, Pats 45, Browns 42, Raiders 45, Saints 33.  The team I root for 0, ZERO, NONE, ZILCH, NADA not a freakin point. Years ago John McKay coach of the Tampa Bay Bucs was asked about the EXECUTION of his offense, he said he was in favor of it. Thats how I feel about the Bills offense.

I want my ticket money back, I deserve at least half my money back as it seem that the Bills only field half a team.  That wide receiver bunch is a freakin joke, and the offensive  line is the punch line.

Thanks for letting me vent.  They're killin me Whitey, they're killin me!

You are forgetting about the fact that the Packer’s defense is probably a bottom 10 defense in the NFL.

Unless you were actively working to sabatoge the team, it would be difficult to put together a more inept offense than what the Bills are trotting out there in 2018, including what might be the worst receiving corps in the modern history of the league.  Will anyone be held accountable, or will the people who created this fiasco be given years to try to prove that they are competent?

it's a green QB with a lot of potential

just admit you aren't going to dominate, hand the ball off half the time and gladly punt for field position and hope to eke out a 10-7 win

Do you want the same people who passed on Mahomes and Watson, and traded up for Zay Jones, to be in charge of that project?  Are you interested in giving them a few more years?

"Will we ever have an offense"

This may be the most offensive example of a Buffalo Bills team since the 2-14 teams of '84-'85.

This team will be hard pressed to better those records.

Be a good year to trade out of their likely top 3 pick. This team needs more than any NFL team.
