BakersBills Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 must be the only offense in the last decade that never runs pick plays, it amazes me. 2
Starr Almighty Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 (edited) All the WRs on the team run like they are stuck in mud. It would take a minimum of 3 minutes to run a pick play with them. Edited October 3, 2018 by Starr Almighty 2

LeGOATski Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 The Bills do run pick plays. Just not very well. 1
DJB Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Because we only run go routes. No slants, no crossing routes, no WR screens. Nothing. No creativity. 2
Doc Brown Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Knowing our WR's they'd run into each other and knock each other out if they tried. 4

I think it helps to have a TE, sometimes two, integrated into a real offensive scheme, something the Bills haven’t really bothered with for decades now

The Firebaugh Kid Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 (edited) Great question. No picks, no shallow crosses, just 3 deep routes and a safety valve alot of the time. Daboll looks awful so far with the moderate exception of week 3. Edited October 1, 2018 by The Firebaugh Kid
MDH Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 The Bills have run offenses like they're taken straight out of 80's playbooks for the past decade. Why change things now? 1

stevestojan Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 No one is going to comment on a question starting with “how come?” 2
C.Biscuit97 Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 I mean they still haven’t figured out how to run slant routes. 2 1

oldmanfan Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Good question. From his pressers yesterday McD might be asking Daboll the same type questions.
MJS Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 (edited) I would assume they do. Still requires the QB to get it out quickly and on target. 25 minutes ago, Helpmenow said: Cause the bills play by the rules Pick plays are not against the rules inherently. The receiver just can't bring up his arms to block or do anything to indicate that he is doing something other than running a route. Edited October 3, 2018 by MJS
