Stevie was more of a number 1 than Evans was. Stevie was our last number 1. Revis always covered the number 1 WR and somehow, Stevie had his number.
BuffaloMatt Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 TO baby! Love him or hate hime . . . .certainly a #1 WR and look at the list above to see who followed him. Point no real #1s followed him.

Stevie came up real small in some big spots.
Another Fan Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Owens I always think that 09 team could have been so much more if Fitz started from day 1 and Jauron didn’t start the year
hondo in seattle Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 In his all-too-short prime, Moulds played like a HOFer. I agree with Skycap - I'd love to see Allen have a guy like Moulds on the other end of his passes.

If you're talking about Stevie's egregious endzone drop in OT against the Steelers, the Bills were 2-8 at that point and as far from the playoffs as you could possibly imagine.
YodaMan79 Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 I was out of town when Owens was with the Bills. I know he was injured during his year here, why did they not sign him past his one year? I always liked him. Even with his antics here in Philadelphia. Someone needed to call out McNabb and his passive aggressive ways. The guy was clean off the field, a little eccentric yes, but that's why the coaches and front office people are paid big $, to make the puzzle pieces fit. I thought he was going to be a good addition for the team and bring some national attention to the Bills.
The Process Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Bob Chandler.....James Lofton.....tie

For some reason I remembered it as an important game. It was the year we started out 0-8. Fitz came in after week 2 and actually could lead a competent passing game. We finished out second half of season at 4-4
whatdrought Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Better question.... How awesome would it be to have this lineup with Allen: 1- Eric Moulds 2- Lee Evans 3- Stevie Johnson *drools
MJS Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Probably Lee Evans. Moulds was way better, but Moulds was a great, great receiver. Evans was #1 material.
Freddie's Dead Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 I was gonna say Lee Evans, but Stevie Johnson deserves the nod (I just threw up in my mouth).
Nuncha Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 (edited) Eric Moulds……...yes it has been that long. Edited September 30, 2018 by Azucho98
