Trade Lawson and a 3rd to the Raiders for Cooper

I floated the Amari Cooper scenario a few weeks ago after Mack got traded and they weren’t featuring cooper in the offense. Gruden is ripe. Beane needs to take advantage. I think a 3rd or 4th would do it.

I floated this out there too.  If they lose another game there season is basically done.  He gets a huge raise next year too, I believe.  Just depends on if he is in their long term plans.

Cooper is a guy I could see the Bills interested in signing long term

The Patriots? Seriously?!

In 2 weeks they are going to have one of the best WR corps out their.

Gronk, Edleman, Gordon, Hogan, Dorsett, Patterson.... yeah they need help.

Dorsett and Patterson are bums.  Hogan is JAG.  Gordon is an addict.  Edelman and Gronk are brittle.  They could also have the worst WRs in the league by the end of the year.

No thanks to Cooper. Raiders fans hate him for a reason. We already have one WR with butter fingers no need for another. Plus the dude is buttery soft and doesn't battle.

Whats the update on this thread? Are we bringin in RMatt for a look at least? I would be pissed if we dont, even if he doesnt fit the scheme, Beane needs to wine and dine any respectable NFL WR with real NFL talent to get over here and help the rook.

Yeah, his drop rate is bad.  Plus he'll want Watkins money.

He has as many drops as KB13, don't he?

I don’t know how many drops he has, but he is a complete WR who can get separation and dominated games at times, and can be a true #1. Of course we need to draft one too. But the best WRs in the league without flaws are not getting traded or if they even get to FA, choosing to sign in Buffalo. There needs to some realism in how people look at the WR options.

Report he signed with Bills? Is that accurate?

Not that I’ve seen. All I’ve seen is that he’s unlikely to sign with Bills due to poor relationship with WR coach Terry Robiskie

here's the article detailing the Zero Chance of signing him.   The title can be misread to indicate that he signed.

I think we'd be crazy to NOT take a flyer in Matthews. Or at least bring him in for a visit. Our WR corp is insanely bad. KB, who I loved when we acquired, doesn't seem to care and shows a lack of effort imo. Zay has been MIA. We cut Kerley. Foster hasn't shown much. Holmes can make a nice grab once in a while but isn't the most reliable. Ray Ray is a young rookie who hasn't had much of an opportunity to showcase/targets. Why NOT?!

They just dealt for Gordon who could be one slip up away from being done in the league, they signed Coleman who lasted a couple weeks in TC with the Bill's before being cut (so bad they gave up a pick for him and took additional dead cap when cutting him so quickly) and they are still looking at another Bill's cast off in Kerley now. The Pat's are rummaging through cast offs from the Bill's WR corps right now, why would they not be looking at someone who Bill's fans believe is an upgrade over their own guys?

I can't wait until Gordon runs the wrong route and Brady throws the ball right to a CB for a pick 6. Hopefully at a crucial time in the game.

NE's offense is all about crisp option routes and chemistry with Brady. That's why Edelman is open by 5 yards every play. The 2 have a psychic connection where Brady can throw the ball in 1.5 seconds and wherever Edelman ends up going the ball is waiting there.

Gronk is just a huge guy that you just toss it up to. Hogan is there to clean up when teams devote resources to those 2 guys.

Let's just hope that Gordon doesn't return to any kind of form or suddenly "get right" in NE.

Quitting is what Davis did.  I can understand him feeling that his abilities would be better utilized in a different system.

He quit; whining because he thinks he should get the ball more  often;he just signed an extension a few weeks ago...he knows what the sytsem is...apparently he thinks they assume his injury is holding him back. he quit, i think his talent could help the Bills, but i dont think they approve of  this

He did have the offseason knee injury. Where is he with that? Maybe it has affected his play.
