Very good that he gets some actual prison time.  He is an unrepentant monster.  I hope at this moment he is feeling deep and genuine fear and terror, more than he has ever known before.

One messed up part is that in the late 80's when The Cosby Show was hit, he was like America's Dad, the most wholesome guy around. I can't even think of anyone today to compare him to. When I heard somewhere in the 90's that he was a regular at the Playboy Mansion for years I was a bit skeeved out, but he was still one of the least likely people to do this kind of psycho stuff, from his public image anyway.

When RIchard Pryor has to  tell you "hey man calm down" on set, you've got issues.

I loved the guy in the 80s.  He really was on top of the world, but it looks like he's always had the creeper in him.  i heard an interview with George Lopez not too long ago.  if i'm not mistaken, he took over as the mc for the montreal comedy festival for bill cosby.  he said when discussing it with him on the phone, bills spent about 15 minutes talking about the duties, then spent a ton of time telling george how to wrangle women, get them back stage, get security to help you, etc.

Hollywood is *filled* with Bill Cosby types.

If even 25% of the predators were ever brought to justice, it'd burn that industry to the ground.

Glad he's getting his due, but I doubt an 81 year old celeb will have it too rough in prison.   OJ seemed to do fine.

and none of this would have come out if he didn't give a speech about hiking up your pants and not shooting people over running shoes and pound cake?

I know somebody who worked in the events department at the Seneca Casino in Niagara Falls and said he was absolutely brutal behind the scenes when he came to town...just a real miserable, rude, arrogant piece of s***....Glad he is finally getting what is coming to him

Who's going to mess with a fat old blind guy, in a cardigan sweater?

My wife worked for some advertising/marketing firm in Chicago in the 70's.  Cosby was a client.  She's been telling me he's a creep since I've known her and that's pushing 40 years.

I have a similar feeling in that Hollywood would have kept finding people to run interference for BC if he had towed the liberal line.  These women would have been denounced as trailer trash looking for 15 minutes of fame and a little cash if possible.  It just seems so improbable that so many victims would have kept silent for so long unless they were threatened in some manner.

The same cons who prey on those much weaker than they are outside the prison walls.  But in the end Cosby probably has enough free assets that he can pay for protection while on the inside.

Wow!  Now the whole "He didn't tow the liberal Hollywood line" and is being persecuted thing.  Conservative thinking never ceases to amaze Me.

The world is changing, pure and simple.  The haves have more and the have not have less.  The "wronged" want now.

I am not saying he's guilty or innocent, nit sure what to make of it, but the victims rode a cultural wave too.

I never said that he was unfairly persecuted or wrongfully accused.  I am saying he would have been protected had he not gone up against the Hollywood establishment.  The cracks in the armor started showing up not too long after Cosby's statement about young black men perhaps not living up to the highest moral and ethical codes when he mentioned the incident of being killed over a pair of athletic shoes.
