Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 How about that Watson, amirite?

But the Texans problem is the defense, which looks atrocious and the offensive line. Watson has been pressured on something like 49% of his drop backs which is a crazy number. He is still only a tick below 60%, 8+ypa, 5TDs 3INTs. It takes time to knock some of the rust off when you haven't played for almost a year. Saw the same with Wentz yesterday.

My point here is that people who were ready to bite down on the cyanide ampule after not drafting Watson last year are clearly over-reacting. Edited September 24, 2018 by joesixpack 1

No one was ready to do that, they just quickly switched over to Mahommes.....

GunnerBill Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 (edited) Watson and Mahomes both look like good Quarterbacks. That 2017 class which some of the talking heads hated may well produce two franchise guys in the top 12. The one who really doesn't look good ironically enough is the first one taken - Mitchell only needs 16 points a game to win and is still making it look difficult. EDIT: From a Bills perspective all that matter is that Allen is good. If he is then nobody they passed on the last couple of drafts matters. If Baker, Josh, Mahomes, Watson, Darnold all end up being able to play..... then the AFC is going to become quite the gauntlet for the next ten years. Be nice to see the Steelers, Patriots and Broncos as bottom feeders while some of those that have waited their turn rise again! Edited September 24, 2018 by GunnerBill 4
