From The Lost Leaf Tapes

"There's this kid, coming out of East Carolina! A wide receiver, 19 years from now! You wanna talk all-time busts?!! Give it a few years! Till then, don't talk to me alright! Knock it off!!!".

He has not been good.....but you have a very short memory if you think he is the biggest bust.....PLENTY of 1st round picks have busted out on this team in the past.....

Maybin

Flowers

etc etc

Right, and Zay could make that All Bust team pretty soon here if he doesn't show up...

Dude has 6 catches on 10 targets through 3 games and leads the Bills in yards which is sad.

He simply does not have enough throws his way.

Could anyone be more invisible out there? Yeah, Benjamin is in self-preservation mode and going half speed on half of his plays, but Zay is trying his best. That’s horrific. There is 0.0 chance this guy makes it out of TC next year.

We took him over JuJu. Damn. I’d rather have TJ Graham.

I wanted JuJu so badly in that draft. I thought he was a better WR and I wanted to personalize a Bad JuJu Bills jersey.

Brandon Reilly = heart, hands and the instinct for how to get open.

Aaron Maybin must be feeling relieved then.

the guy producing the most  catches and yards sucks.    Gotcha.

Trying to wrap my head around how it's confirmed after this ^ with basically 3.3 targets a game.

Same people said Woods sucked and not worth the contract he was getting from the Rams due to limited targets.

Zay will open it up if given the opportunities. I'm 10X more concerned with KB's drops at this point. I won't label KB yet either as I hope he turns this 3 game stint around as we desperately need him to perform for Allen and the O.

Did I miss him doing something bad today? It seemed like everything worked o.k. on offense, and he even made a catch. I'll take 1 catch in a win any day.

He was targeted once on 22 attempts. Perhaps if they needed to throw much in the 2nd half he'd have more targets, but that's alarming how little he factored into this game.

I think he's got the rest of the season to show he's starting material.  2nd round picks that you trade up for should be producing and Allen has definitely not shown complete tunnel vision like TT did.

Mike Williams, Erick Flowers, Maybin, McCargo....

Heck, throw Whitner on that list too.

There are plenty of 1st round busts from the past 20 years before we start knocking a 2nd rd WR.
