Foster isn't as fast a Goodwin, but he is bigger and stronger and gets off the line better.

I will concede that Foster gets open quite well.

His ability to actually catch the ball is still nonexistent overall, but maybe he can learn?

Foster -  Well he gets open and he seems to know the plays so for a rookie Fister has 2/3rds of it. Sure he needs to catch the ball.

I would not cut him so soon, he can improve and we have nothing else.

Beane needs to make WR a priority.

This sounds like something I saw on porn hub

Including preseason, this was about his 4th or 5th similar drop or mistake that led to an incompletion on what would have been a big play.

After the first pre-season game, I thought he was gone already. But then they only have one cut now at the end...and he managed to make the team.

As mentioned, it is at least because he gets open! At the very least that stretches the field but yeah, catching the damn ball would be nice

Theres receivers out there- yep, cut guys who cant catch the damn ball- its that simple.

If that were the case we would have dropped Eric Moulds by year 2, Jerry Rice would have been cut since he dropped everything his rookie season and the list goes on. Give these kids a shot before we toss them away, he's a rookie trying to find his way.

It was more a slam against our other WR than pumping up Foster. This is literally the worst WR corps I have ever seen. The worst. It may have been the worst when people still thought Benjamin was a good player, including me. Zay freakin' Jones may be our best WR and he's awful right now. It's a dereliction of duty to Josh.

Agreed.  I can't believe how bad (and apathetic) Benjamin has looked.  Does he realize he's in a contract year too?

Foster dropped two perfectly catchable deep balls yesterday.   We need wrs.

Technically it went through his hands. He never had it to drop it.

That doesn't make me feel any better.   He needs to work on his technique if you want to get technical.

Have to have safety help with Foster. It would be nuts to single cover him. At the very least he should open things up for other receivers.

Riiiiiight.    That whole zero catch stat line is gonna force teams to double him

???

No receiver catches every ball, even the greats.

I might settle for your boy Foster catching ONE BALL, never mind every ball.

CATCH THE F'ING BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you miss the diving grab last week and the TD catch in preseason?

I guess the expectation is he should be an all time great after 3 games.

Need to give him some jet sweeps and bubble screens.

I had a feeling that the ball boy was an Auburn fan and put grease on the football before that pass to Foster.

That's a distinct possibility.  No matter though, Foster is fast and he gets open.

And Goodwin can actually track and catch so a WR.

Foster - Decoy
