4merper4mer Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 (edited) It meant nothing but there is zero way to explain the no reversal on the flip to McCloud called a fumble. It wasn't the worst in terms of impact but it could not have been an easier reversal. Mahomes and Brady use that play and when it works it is called a completion, not a rush. Can anyone explain? Agreed. And ridiculous to CONFIRM it and not just "call stands"

Unfortunately, there is no explanation. Horrible call and even worse non reversal. Romo couldn’t believe it either.
Lurker Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 The NFL will announce it a was a wrong call later this week, undoubtedly... 3

bbb Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I hate replay so much. If they got it right more often, I'd be better with it. 1 1
DuckyBoys Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 terrible call I'm sure they will be going over in the refs prep meeting for next week 1
Real McClappy Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 (edited) Was mind boggling and made zero sense. I thought the challenge was an excellent one as well. Always a 1st though, just like the illegal block in the back when we were the ones punting the ball? WTH? How does that even happen? Edited September 23, 2018 by Real McCoy 4
machine gun kelly Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Allen’s hand was moving forward and the announcers on TV agreed. it doesn’t matter now.

To be completely honest, I knew exactly what play he was talking about as soon as I read the title. 2

That unsportsmanlike on Tre was a pretty God awful call as well. That was a beautiful, textbook tackle. 4
Coach Tuesday Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Someone here told me a few days ago that the replay system works fine... It doesn’t. The NFL is populated by bozos. 2

BillsFan130 Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 The even more sad part is they “confirmed” the call 2 1

I do see your defense of the call but I don't agree. 1
Heavy Kevi Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Yeah, I have a feeling they are running the play that way specifically so that it can't be a fumble. I can't believe it didn't get overturned 1

Billsfansinceday1 Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 It was a bad call but I don’t think we will see that one again any time soon.
