Don't recall Trent Murphy being cut by many teams, pretty sure he was a free agent from the Redskins. Also Hughes didn't play for Minneapolis, was acquired in a trade from the colts.

And lepers looking for a carcass?!?! What's Dinger talking about?? Lepers aren't vultures, they are the carcass.

Bally may know Xs n Os but is iffy on his history.

Hughes looked like a man with something to prove. Just torched Reiff, who is a good left tackle. I don’t know where it came from, but I hope like hell it keeps up

It was there last week too - couldn't understand people griping about Trent Murphy after last week (yet another bad McBeane FA, blah blah blah) - Murphy was terrific last week too.

trent murphy is going to get better by the week and with nate orchard and lorax behind him, we finally have some nastiness on both ends of the line. i love it. as much as i absolutely hate the idea that success can be had by rushing just 4, it may actually be possible now.

I've been saying it since week one. Star has been really good. He's either eating a double or he's destroying his guy 1 on 1. It won't show on the stat sheet but he has been a good addition.

As a whole they seem to be disguising the looks in the front 7 pre snap more than they did early on. Couple this with the fact that Jerry Hughes has decided to play like a madman and boom, pass rush.

The best part about it all is that thus far it hasn't hurt the run D.

Leopards, not lepers.

Hughes was a monster out there...he was unblockable

Fought through several blatant holds that weren’t called as well.

Came close to getting a tipped pass or INT about 20 yards down field too on a Cousins overthrow...I was like "Was that Hughes back there??".

Was almost waiting for him to start complaining post game about why he couldn't get sacks cause he was always dropping back into pass coverage...??

Lorax rushing from DT in the wide 9 looks seemed to work well. He and Kyle were doing a great job of compressing the pocket while Hughes was going to work.

Gotta give the secondary credit too, they had good coverage a lot of the day. Corner depth is a concern, but they played well yesterday.

A lot might have to do with the fact that Leslie Frazier was the Vikings defensive coordinator in 2007 to the Vikes head coach before leaving in 2013. Teams tend to keep the same playbooks and just change some play calls and signals, nomenclature.

If this was the case it might be a big reason both the Buffalo Bills offense and defense knew what to expect each play. I'm not trying to take anything away from those Bills coaches and players but it just might be the reason why a 16 point underdog blew out a team favored to go to the SB this year "in" their stadium.

Frazier did get the game ball with McD still calling the defensive plays.
