Hughes and Milano were dominating.  They were everywhere the ball was.

Milano needed to show his first year wasn't just a few good games and has he stepped it up.  He looks to play a huge role in this defense moving forward.  Good for him

Ahhh, nope. Guess you missed McD giving him a game ball and saying he called a helluva game

It was there last week too - couldn't understand people griping about Trent Murphy after last week (yet another bad McBeane FA, blah blah blah) - Murphy was terrific last week too.

When things are going poorly, fans are looking for someone to blame.  Star was pushing the pocket out there as well.  Hopefully, they can keep up it up.

That was a set up. It had a pink slip taped to it.

Hey don't ruin my narrative with facts !!!

(He must have got the message last week that he better step up)

It looks like they changed the gap assignments and the coverages the last six quarters.  The defensive line was shooting the gaps instead of occupying the gap, using run blitzes (more so in the Chargers game, since the Vikings didn't try to run), and they're playing more man and man zone.

His name is Mr. Hughes.

He was unbelievable today, I think putting Alexander on the line during pressure packages is a huge factor as well.

The push from the DTs was excellent, which helped give Jerry the angle he needed.  That had beem MIA for most of the past year, which hurt Hughes pass rush stats.  It was like a fine-tuned machine today...

This is specifically why Star was brought in, as much for the pass rush as the run defense.

This was a big factor, too. I think the Vikes were confused most of the game, until it was over.

They were rested, and playing with a lead all game long. Plus they believe in this QB. That's half the battle.

Most of the big pass rush plays happened in the first 10 minutes of the game. I doubt rest had anything to do with it.

Jerry was unblockable at times.  They mixed in some pressure.  Vikings helped out a bit by not giving the LT any help.
