I suspect that Frazier was a little worried about the secondary being vulnerable with the weakness at the one CB spot. Maybe they saw evidence last week that their depth CBs arent' so bad after all. Pitts held up OK last week, and I think Ryan Lewis today was fine.. Knowing they can play means Frazier/McDermott can dial up a little exotic pressure.
