Augie Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 Welcome back! I still hope you were kidding and it was all for good laughs, but if not....live and learn. As for the process stuff, I’ve been in it for the long view the whole time. If Allen is legit, they will get this thing rolling. If not, they’ll have to pull the trigger again. I hope they are given the chance, if need be. Time will tell.
Warcodered Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 I'd hazard a guess that people complain less about the coaching staff when they win a game. Honestly you're getting crap for your bet isn't that bad I mean it's no different than when Pro Allen people got crap when Peterman got the start and then the Peterman people got crap when Peterman Petermaned. You just show up take your beating and everyone moves on.

People need to be more informed in their or opinion or balanced.
GoBills808 Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 Then there are the rest of us who understand that two bad losses don't disprove the 'process' any more than a good win validates it. The process is about a calculated, level-headed approach to team building with the understanding that, like many long term goals, acceptable risk and short/intermediate growing pains are part and parcel. 1 2
downunderbill Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 They are still here, just wait for the next loss or the inevitable bad game from Allen.
PolishPrince Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 Is this the 5,000$ bet guy? I just gotta know, was the bet really made? I wont even give you crap, ive just been dying to know lol
Teddy KGB Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 Gonna pick up some overnight shifts at the 7-11 ?

The same people perceive that your attention seeking is unbecoming and it was attempted to be done on the back of an "expected Bills' demise." Finally, I would expect people will continue to be "negative" towards you by holding you accountable to this silly stunt. 3 2
hondo in seattle Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 I've made one official sports bet in my life. The Bills line in one game years ago - forget the game - was so whacked that I had to place $100 on the Bills to cover a ridiculous spread. I lost - and never bet since - not counting bets that required me to buy someone lunch or wear an opposing team's jersey. BR, I wish you the best and hope you've learned betting is a game for fools and never do it again.

This is an ironic statement coming from you. But back to the topic at hand, other posters said your 5k bet thread really did seem like a LAMP one . How can someone even consider a 17 point spread “because the money line was attractive” Seemed like a post simply to gain attention. But If you really did make the bet it’s an unfortunate gambling 101 lesson never to touch a double digit spread.

But I should not be surprised. The same people who slandered and/or were extremely hostile and negative toward Coach McDermott and GM Beane a week ago, are now all about "The Process" again. This included one of the moderators (lead by example, I guess). While I can't say that it's romanticizing, this is definitely a very emotional crew here. Props to the many people that PM'ed me concerned after Sunday's upset, or to the hand full of people that actually wrote some nice comments here. I am fine and look forward to getting back to talking about Bills football, as I have been advised not to talk about anything else here. I have no comment So, you come here and say (and possibly do) something stupid and if true irresponsible. Then you crawl back here days later and you start calling out everyone here. It really is all about you, isn't it buddy? 4

I have no comment You opened your mouth You stuck your foot in it You hid for days. You expected less from a message board? to the bold ..... You return and accuse a moderator of harassment. Shades of Dunkirk Don and his fake insight. And as you have said prior ... You don't have to follow or care about the rules. 15 hours ago, Warcodered said: If you'd shown up earlier people would've gotten over it quicker. exactly 14 hours ago, JimKellyTryouts said: "I have no comment" This message brought to you by a LAMP beat me to it 14 hours ago, BuffaloRush said: I get that, but the takes here are so emotional. I won't even put Bills players on my fantasy team (winnings are peanuts). Even if they were a sure pick, I am superstitious because players I pick tend to get injured. Stupid I know, but.... Like any type of betting (casino, horses, sports), you have to truly know the game before you lay your hard earned money down, especially on large $$ bets. Did you honestly think you were going to get sympathy, understanding and respect when you originally put this out on the board. Win or lose, you have to expect that you are going to get your #@&&$ busted. Edited September 27, 2018 by Flutie Flakes

He could afford it and it was def his biggest loss ever it wasn’t more than his biggest win. His thing is he drinks so much when he’s gambling people think they can take his money but they lose to him. I’ve honestly never seen anything like it and when I go out there the dealers say the same thing
