The poster who started a thread may delete or (I believe) lock it Threads have been "starved of oxygen" before by people refraining from posting in it, and quietly PMing others suggesting they do likewise

The audacity Expand you opened a can of worms. what did you expect? what would of saved you from all the grief was never to come on here claiming to have made such a foolish bet. then further, many asked to see the document showing you had actually made it. you did not, came up with the "no comment" yet with technology today you could of posted it. so now much of your $5,000 bet claim has been heckled and some have doubts you even made the bet, as do I. open a can of worms, be prepared.
