Kirby Jackson
Well he is a total outlier. He only played a year or 2 of football. Ziggy Ansah was the same way. UB getting him was more luck than anything. If Mack would have played all 4 years like that in Florida he would have ended up at FSU or UF. Kudos to the Bulls for finding him but he’s the exception, not the rule.

The reason is clear though. He wasn’t on the radar. He wasn’t at elite camps and stuff like that. That’s how these guys get noticed. If he would have started earlier he wouldn’t have fallen through the cracks because he is an ELITE talent. It’s rare, especially now, with the amount of information out there for this to happen. OldTimeAFLGuy
...now that's LARGE.............. FCS: Illinois State Left Tackle Drew Himmelman Paving the Way at 6-foot-10 Sam Herder- HERO Sports 21 hrs ago Drew Himmelman stands 6-foot-10 and is already a top offensive lineman in the FCS as a sophomore. Drew Himmelman remembers his high school freshman year basketball team picture well. He and some friends were about the same height of 6-foot. By the time his sophomore year hit, though, he towered above them at 6-foot-6. Himmelman wasn't done growing yet, hitting 6-foot-9 and is now listed as a 6-foot-10 left tackle for the Illinois State football team. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb/fcs-illinois-state-left-tackle-drew-himmelman-paving-the-way-at-6-foot-10/ar-AAAGBUr?li=BBnba9I
