As Bobby said the money means almost nothing but hurting the coach next year by not letting him have enough time to evaluate his new people does hurt.

Due to the rules violation the Ravens will be forced to vacate 2016 OTAs and may lose preseason wins if further wrongdoing is discovered. Its the most severe punishment the NFL has ever handed down. No team in the modern era has ever been forced to vacate current OTAs or preseason victories. The last time was 1982 when the NFL handed Cleveland the death penalty. The program never recovered.
