Should shake it up and let Weird Al play halftime.

I like the way you think, my friend. Weird Al doing a Janet Jackson SB parody isn't something I thought I needed to see.

the good ones with Facenda narrating when it meant something, instead of this era of "classic game" re-runs like the 2016 Jags/Browns thriller

I had one of the DVDs growing up and I'm pretty sure I watched it to death. That one had Jim Marshalls great fumble return on it.

Anybody ever see those old DVD's called football follies? Just a bunch of AFV type things centered around the NFL... This is what halftime should be for the Superbowl: Just a compilation of all the dumbest things from the previous year.

Like Vonte Davis? That was funny and dumb

used to have a dozen on Beta VHS tapes, much more valuable than 1,000 out there by NFL Films that i won't watch and aren't really that thrilling any more

Pop gum music.  Lead singer is on the voice so you figure you get Blake Shelton and stafani too

He has a parody for just about everything written.  Could probably have a parody of a new release ready by the end of the halftime show.

It's not a bad choice but it's clear that the NFL office in charge of Super Bowl halftime shows believes demographic reports about it's audience is "fake news."

Can't recall the last Super Bowl halftime show I have seen; the moment the 1st half ends I am usually off to the bathroom and kitchen to prepare snacks for 2nd half.

It's nice little break.
