If we give them too much time and patience we might have several 4-12 seasons in a row

Oof cap room doesn't mean there's $90 million worth of available free agents. A bad team that can't spend it's full cap simply means it doesn't have enough talent worth the money to reach the cap.. which means it's less talented than other teams. Unspent cap is not good at all.

Or its got a lot of young players and no QB or a QB on his rookie contract.

Check and check.

Tre'davious, Allen, and Edwards are a great core to build around.  Dawkins, Milano, Harrison, Poyer, Hyde are great Bills.  And we do have 10 draft picks, and tons of cap room next year.  So I am very hopeful for the Bills and Josh Allen.  Last year we almost beat Jacksonville in the playoffs.  I don't understand how we regressed this year

Lost two top offensive linemen and didn't replace them with anything special; McCoy can't buy a hole to run thru; lost a top linebacker, need a starting corner big time, and we're starting a quarterback that's brand-spanking new.  You win on the line of scrimmage; we regress there because we remain an organization that refuses to use high draft picks on quality offensive linemen.

You think the Bills have a lot of young players?

I mean, relative to the rest of the league?

Because they don't.

We have one less old player than we did during the first half on Sunday.  So there's that.

So a really bad record. Cool I love watching the worst team I've ever seen.

When is this happening?

Even if they keep all of their picks in the next draft they will only be middle of the pack in this regard because it's an old team now.

Yup. Its a full tear down. If they rebuild it right we will be good for a long time. The key word is IF.

Not if they swap out older players or players on expiring contracts for younger free agents.

You don't need to suck to suck to be good for a long time lol. Ask the.. Chiefs. They have a GM

Sounds good in theory but as I've illustrated tanking doesn't ever lead to a team being "good for a long time" anymore.

There isn't even an exception to the rule for anyone to hang their hat on in the entirety of the 2000's.

Peyton Manning was the last of the #1 overall picks to lead his team to sustained contention.

It's a pretty sobering list for you pro-tankers.

Mediocrity is the place to start if you want to win.........if you can't rebuild it right from THERE you are highly unlikely to do it by the far more complicated approach of tanking.

Nothing we can do.

Yeah, there is. He can go find another team instead of spending every waking moment sounding like he can't find his tampon.

Why, I'd go so far as to say the Buffalo Bills are the Pete's Posts of the NFL. That's how big of a schittshow they are.

I wonder how much just Kyle WIlliams would lower that average age number.....because you know this is his last year.....honestly Kyle is not playing great right now.

It's a little early for this. If the Bills still look this inept by mid-season I'll start to worry (to the extent I worry about this ****), but I don't find it at all surprising that a cash strapped team with a rookie QB and a bunch of new starters is having a rough start to the season.

I suspect the defense will start to look like an NFL unit at some point soon. They looked like they might be figuring it out in the second half Sunday.

We knew this wasn't going to be an offensive powerhouse, but if Allen proves to be the real deal, which looks promising thus far, it shouldn't take much to get us on track.

Either way, I'd rather be us than Chicago, Seattle, Detroit, or AZ right now. And the Browns are still the Browns until proven otherwise.

well, to truly assess a ‘worse team’, one has to be acquainted with the Best team for accurate comparison. I offer the Champion Australian Women’s Cricket team for contrast.

Analyze this.

Probably not much, you do know how averages work, right?

Would you trade our team for the Browns?  In a NY second.  The Browns have talent all over the field.  Where is ours?

I cant think of a bigger **** show than Buffalo.  The Giants are a mess.  Other than that, I can't think of a bigger mess than us.

Tampa, Jets, Bears- they all got better.  Why can't we?  We deserve much better.  Seriously, is there a team that is garbage, worse than ours?

Are we the least talented team in the NFL?  How does that happen with high draft picks for 20 years, and free agency and salary caps?  It is maddening!

We finally appear to have a QB, were hopefully about to land a top 5 pick with an abundance of draft picks and 80+ M to spend in FA and you want to bail now?
