Respectfully disagree with the OP. This may be the strongest version of the NFL during my lifetime. Currently, the Bills are the only terrible team that doesn't have any real hope. The Cardinals are a mess too, but they have the talent to right the ship.

Unlike most years where there are obvious bottom feeders with no hope and a bunch of known bad QBs, every starting QB in the league is either a vet with a good past history, a young player looking to be a star, a highly touted rookie, or a future Hall of Famer. There are no Aj Feeley's, Matt Cassell's, or Brock Osweiler's littering the league.

The closest you've got is Blake Bortles that just dropped 377 and 4TDs on the Patriots, while Ryan Fitzpatrick passes Joe Namath on the all time yards list while reading Rich Gannon's memoirs.

Josh will improve weekly and play much better sometime in October

Frazer needs to go, the D played better with McD calling the plays

Do not under estimate Brandon Beane, some obvious changes can still be made.

As for you guys......chill

It looks like a rough class imo. The Bills are in dire need of OL and playmakers. I’d honestly be tempted to throw a bunch of money at Bell. He’d be your best receiver and is an elite RB. Roger Saffold is a guy that I think would help. Anthony Barr is high on the list. We have lots and lots of needs.

Like any of those guys are ever going to want to come here.  I think first task is to build both sides of the line.  You simply can not win in the NFL with the lines we have.  Unfortunately you are going to have to that in the draft I believe.  Hopefully they get a top 3 pick & either get Bosa or the Left tackle from Bama.  That will be a good start

Right now, every team on the schedule is better than the Bills so 0-16 would not be a shock. Still, it is almost impossible to not win at least one game by accident so my prediction is 1 to 3 wins.

I assume you mean a season with a winning record?  No way. All the things you mentioned above might happen but they are not winning 9 games this year. They play at Minnesota them at Green Bay, both very tough games and likely losses. Assume they start 0-4, they would have to go 9-3 the rest of the way and two of those games are against New England. I think Allen will continue to improve and the defense can’t play worse, but 9 wins is a dream.

From what we've seen so far, 4 wins is a dream. The only thing we can be assured of is that they don't lose Nov 18.

I like Barr and Saffold.

What do you think about Coleman from ATL.  I think he is a FA after this year?

I’m a fan (especially if Shady isn’t coming back). I’d probably add an RB in the draft instead though. The only way I’m paying FA RB price is Bell.

Thinking this will be a winning season is a stretch. I am not a negative person just being realistic.....I see the Bills have a top 5 pick in next years draft. I am ok with that as long as I see Allen and Edmunds improve.  Not expecting them to be good this season is a relief to my family and dogs because there wont be as much yelling at the TV. So they get a one season reprieve. After this season and a training camp as the starter, I think we will see a much improved Allen next season.....then the reprieve is over and its back to business.
