The ref seemed to be more concerned about where the ball was being spotted than the helmet-less player himself. An ejection could have and most certainly should have happened... Agreed, but at least he got the PF and they took the points off the board

Each year it gets a little worse. Whatever happened to the 1 yard halo around a punt returner? The NFL pretends to be all safety conscious when it comes to kickoff returns and yet on a punt return you can hammer the guy at full speed while you're looking up in the air? A player loses his helmet, gets hit in the head by another helmet and no ejection. The NFL simply picks and chooses its rules from week to week and as it pleases. Hypocrisy It was the returners fault for not calling for a fair catch on the play. Because of it he takes the risk of being hit like that, it's why the fair catch rule exists. As for Jones, there was a ref in the endzone who looked like he was right there to see the helmet come off but stood there and did nothing but watch

Once they didn't call it at all, once they called the penalty on Hughes when it wasn't even close that the LT moved early. Both times were blatant. They also no-called a ton of false starts. The buffalo TD run was one in our favor, but Okung was moving early all day
sleeby Posted September 17, 2018 Author Posted September 17, 2018 Still no updates anywhere I or Google.have found. This article's language translation was amusing though: http://www.todaychan.com/buffalo-bills-player-taiwan-jones-left-bloodied-after-gruesome-tackle/ Here's the first Two paragraphs: Buffalo Payments working again Taiwan Jones suffered a grotesque head harm through the workforce’s 31-20 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Jones, 30, recovered a fumble in his workforce’s personal finish zone and, whereas he was making an attempt to scramble away from Chargers gamers, misplaced his helmet and was blasted head-on by Uchenna Nwosa.

The workforce McBeane has assembled this year has caused me a lot of grotesque head harm as well.

Don't you just hate it when you misplace your helmet in your workforce's personal finish zone? At least he walked off his sector beneath his personal energy, though.

sleeby Posted September 17, 2018 Author Posted September 17, 2018 (edited) Good for him releasing this. The NFL sure wasn't. I'll bet they're not thrilled with him about now. Edited September 17, 2018 by sleeby

PeterDude Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 I didn't see the play, and I'm not going to watch it, would probably just get me pissed off.
ThunderGun Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Glad to see he is ok, Jones is a very lucky man. If there is any blame, it lies squarely on the shoulders of the officiating crew. They can catch a holding penalty in a huge mess of linemen on a 2 yard run play, but fail to notice this man’s helmet missing and immediately blow the whistle???
