Maine-iac Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Hey we won the second half! If we didn't spot them a 28 point lead we might have had something. 2

1st Ammendment NoMas Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 I like JA's poise in the pocket.
Cheektowaga Chad Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Solid first start. Now he needs to improve upon it next week
sven233 Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Look....it wasn't pretty. A ton of mistakes. But if you don't think there were some good things in there to build off of, I don't know what to tell ya. Looking forward to seeing some improvement in the weeks ahead.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 MUCH improved over week one. Yes, still a loss. But much better game.
BillsFan4 Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Much happier with the Bills 2nd half. They showed some life, and made some progress on offense and defense. 1
Nelius Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Pretty sure Murph just got Kelso's name wrong. This is going to be the longest season ever.

Peter Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 (edited) If only the Bills had done more to make sure we had a good offensive line in front of our rookie QB. The kid did well under very difficult circumstances. My hats off to him. I will remain hopeful about Josh's potential. P.S. Josh also is a tough kid. He will need to be. whatdrought Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Man, I would pay huge dollars to have Phillip Rivers teaching Allen the game every day. 1

This is the biggest positive I have with him Think back to losman and Manuel. Allen is head and shoulders above them after 1 start. Lets see if Allen learns from his mistakea

He's all over our protection issues and the reasons why they're happening. Always like the ex QBs who actually give Xs and Os insight. he was pretty accurate most of the game and he did say at the end that Allen has a promising future, he's going to make mistakes but will improve each week.

longtimebillsfan Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 (edited) I am pleased with Josh today. Playing only two years in the Mountain West conference then starting in game two his rookie year... not bad at all. Also, the defense came alive with pressure on the qb and good run defense in the second half. I am very pleased. I don't understand all the harsh comments in this thread for Allen. Give him a break.
