Threw it behind him; probably should have been caught at this level, but Allen doesn't make it easy for his own receivers, that is for sure. That's how he plays. You never know which throw you'll get. Bullseye, bad but catchable, totally off the mark. He's shown us all 3 types today.
LABILLBACKER Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Sure glad Holmes made this team over Reilly. What a find! ? 1

I’d rather hear the criticism live from a former starting quarterback. I think he’s doing a great job pointing things out that need improvement

Short of the sticks anyway, Holmes wasn't helping with that route running. JA was inaccurate but was probably trying to get him YAC cause Holmes didn't get there. 1

WMDman Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 wasnt a good throw, felt the preassure tho
sven233 Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Just now, OldTimeAFLGuy said: ...um...er...first start?...what the hell do you expect?.....Jesus......... Look, he isn't playing perfect by any means, but some on here think he should be playing like Rivers out there in his first game. It was never going to happen. What's important is that each game we see progression in these areas he is struggling with today.

MAJBobby Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 If ANYONE thought to include Steve Allen was going to be perfect in his 1st NFL start they really need to learn football a little better. 1
RobbRiddick Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Shame we couldn't get more momentum there
