Personal foul facemask at the very least when you get your helmet ripped off by it.

This is my thought.... no mention of a facemask when the ball carriers helmet is torn off lol

I have no idea how that call gets made actually.

T Jones had the ball running. Thats a fumble.

Think he have caught a break there.

Will it be reversed by someone in a booth somewhere who knows what they are doing?

The commercial TO isn't helping here.

How’s that a penalty on LA? You’re not allowed to tackle a guy without a helmet who’s still running?

I would think it would have been the guy ripping his helmet off by the facemask.

I agree, but there was a penalty. Otherwise it’s a TD for the Chargers.

Play is dead when helmet comes off. Thats how it is a Touchback actually. I think that is how they make the call

No sure how that is not a safety.

Because we never actually had possession of the ball, the muff counts as finally recovering the kick in the endzone

I'm surprised Jones is conscious.  Or even alive.  I haven't been that nauseated by a hit since Everett.

That's on Taiwan.

His helmet should not pop off like that; he likely has a size too big b/c it's more comfortable that way.

If his helmet is sized right and on correctly, it won't pop off like that.

Still in kick status?

Thats a Patriots break if I’ve ever seen one.

That is the rule though. I've seen it happen in other games before.

You can touch the ball in front of the goalline and still have it be ruled a touchback if you recover in the endzone as long as their is no possession by the receiving team.

Now had the Chargers recovered it would've been a TD.
