Ingram was there to hit Josh if he kept it. We have to let Allen makes plays with his arm in that situation as the Chargers will just play the run.

It was a read option. Allen needed to fake the hand off and run left where there were no defenders. It would have been an easy first down.

Right...exactly.  The defense was supposed to keep the game from getting out of hand.  We knew the offense would be impotent, but wasn't expecting this with the D.

Tremaine Edmunds is out of position... alot. Is it that he's a rookie, or that he isn't instinctive as a MLB?  

 

IMO this is his audition year. If he doesn't cut it as a MLB, pick up a FA to play this key position and move the kid to OLB.

What fans probably don't take into account is, the teams we play see all of these mistakes on film.  They know them and they come in and exploit the hell out of them.  We wonder what is wrong with the defense when other teams know what all the problems are.
