RaoulDuke79 Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 It blows my mind that all of this wasn't figured out prior to week 1. Definitely not a good look for the coaching staff. 1
McBean Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 I can’t stand La Canfora. He deserves to have his teeth knocked out.

If that were the plan, they'd already have done it. I don’t think they expected Peterman to suck so bad that they couldn’t even feel comfortable trusting him as a backup. 1

Captain Murica Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Honestly, I might come off as a dick. But, I don’t want peterman on this team. I said it along with a few others on this forum that this off season that Peterman would be fighting for a roster spot. He played like his !@#$ was on fire during the preseason. But, then once again he soiled himself during a real game, that’s 2 out of 3 times. I’m surprised Moore hasn’t been brought in.

drf1835 Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 Carson Palmer retired last year, but he would have been fine if he was receptive to playing again as a backup and mentor. Carson's brother taught Josh in the offseason too.

So why waste the money?

I bet they all have completed a game and likely won at least one.

There are clear upgrades on the street. He can’t ever play in an NFL game again. It makes perfect sense to look for a guy that may be able to back up Allen for a while (or even short-term).

What does that tell you about this staff? He threw five picks in one half last year. Did you think he just had a bad day?
baskingridgebillsfan Posted September 16, 2018 Posted September 16, 2018 so why the rush to trade a.j for a 5th. The dynamic duo make a lot of mistakes If their evaluation is that Allen isn't ready then they could have had A.j starting this week.
