Johnny Hammersticks Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 I’d like to see some RPO mixed in.
hondo in seattle Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 I'd like to see have Daboll put together a game plan that only asks Allen to do well whatever he does well in practice - whether it's RPO or No Huddle or whatever.
quinnearlysghost88 Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 i'm all for getting the new punter some more reps.
co_springs_billsfan Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 (edited) So are you saying get to the line quick so Daboll can help Allen diagnose the defense up until the 10 second mark? Edited September 13, 2018 by co_springs_billsfan
Chuck Wagon Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 The Rams run no huddle, get to the line and McVey helps Goff diagnose the D while the helmet radio is on. But we don't have McVey as a coach...
Lurker Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 With a rookie QB in his first start under the glare of the national spotlight? With an uber by-the-book defensive-minded head coach? With a swiss cheese OL and God awful WR group? LOL! Comedy gold...

BillsFan130 Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 I see positives but one big negative to it. Positives: Basically all the points you made in your first post Negative: There is a chance the offence will break the record in terms of lowest time of possession ever 1
Bray Wyatt Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 I dont mind going to this after we get a first down. Could allow for a better rhythm and keep things simpler for JA

dpberr Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 (edited) My hot take on why few teams run no-huddle as a game-long strategy? The teams don't have enough players with the requisite football IQ to do it. Hell, we can't even get the players on the team to execute the plays they've been studying for months. clearwater cadet Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 I would love to see 3 first down in the first half. 1
CLTbills Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 2 hours ago, MAJBobby said: Here me out this is why. 1. It gives Josh a little help reading defense presnap with the OC in his ear to help (think they shut it off with 10 seconds to go right). 2. Will slow down passrush. The No huddle always does that because it is harder for rotation. 3. To clarify I am not talking throw it all over the yard but more of a Huddle at the line like College does (that is where the game is going IMO). Finally the first play from him I would love to see is 4 wide. Under center. Play action to Shady (they will likey be thinking run to protect the rookie), all WRs run gos. Hits the top of his drop and lets it fly. (Ala the Carolina game). I fully expect him to throw a bomb on the first play, whether it's completed or not, just to put the defense on notice.
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Yeah, let’s complete the EJ development of Josh Allen! its funny, I didn’t want Allen but I thought at least the Bills aren’t going to be stupid and rush him on the field. He will get to learn from a vet and work on getting more consistent habits in practice. Yet, here we are again. 1
McNubbins Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Good plan. Rivers will get the ball so often he'll be gassed, and then we strike!
MJS Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 We went hurry up offense a lot. It didn't do any good. It comes down to execution, and if you can't execute it doesn't matter how fast or slow you go.
RussellDopeland Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 (edited) I'd only like to see it if it looked like this: Edited September 13, 2018 by RussellDopeland 1

26CornerBlitz Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 So faster three and outs to make sure Bojorquez can get his exercise? In all sincerity, it's not a bad plan to put in for the reasons stated in the OP.
