The Bills brass is now in this for the long haul.  Josh stays in the game as long as he is healthy.   No waivering.

And by the way, sign a !@#$ing competent vet backup like Derek Anderson or Matt More.  Josh needs this.

Hell, sign Jordan Palmer for a $2 million and make him QB3....

Confirmed: It’s Allen.

McDermott doesn’t want to go into anymore detail. Seems Pissed.

Because everyone in the organization took a hard line against him and his man crush on Petermania.

The way McDermott presented this made it seem like it wasn't his decision...

Reporters are trying to get him to throw Peterman under the bus, and he's refusing. I respect that.

So we're still a dysfunctional franchise regardless of the owner?

Going for the headline instead of the story.

I had that thought too.  He doesn't look like it's a decision that has him excited or enthused.

He's swallowing his lips and using his phrase "comfortable with it" that he used before when it was code for something else.

Good job stonewalling though.

Yup. Controversy sells. True journalism is a dying art.

Wow - some pointed questions about McD's evaluation of the QB position.

And it threw McD for a second. He’s not used to being challenged here by the media.

I take it as if Peterman is the child you keep investing time and money in. They seem like they have it under control then continue to make poor life choices. He’s probably embarrassed; and annoyed his plan has failed, and now has to Josh way earlier than he wanted.

They did this to themselves with not having a Matt Moore or some seasoned vet to take the heat this season.

In effect, Nate made the decision for him. Other than that, it's McD's decision. He may not be comfortable with it, but it's really his only reasonable option.
