TwistofFate Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 It would be easy to pin today's total and utter collapse on one specific person or thing, but in reality, there is plenty of blame to go around. Penalties, both offensively and defensively, killing drives and sustaining drives. Missed assignments, both offensively and defensively. Execution, dropping passes, wiffing on blocks, gap control, etc. Special teams...missed field goals, large punt returns, and penalties. This was a day for Murphy's Law. If the was a wrong way to do it, it was done. Peterman does not shoulder the blame alone, nor does Allen, nor does any one player. This is a team game and a team effort. This entire team, including the coaching staff was man handled today, and no doubt are completely embarrassed by what transpired today. Growing pains will be the theme going forward this year. We are a far ways off from being a consistent winner, realistically speaking, probably 2 years out. There is no quick and easy fix, so bear down, grunt your teeth, and keep the astroglide near by. Cheers. 1
Seanbillsfan2206 Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 The first thing they need to do is make sure Peterman never takes a snap for us again 1 1
