The best Jacki Gleason story is how he used to golf with Nixon. Jackie wanted Nixon to tell him the truth about "little green men" to which Nixon would laugh off. Until one night a car showed up at Gleason's house and took him to an air force base (posting in the car I forget which one) to see the bodies the government had recovered. 

 

Gleason was so shaken by what he saw, he was a "different man after that experience" per the story.

Thanks for sharing that story. I really loved The Honeymooners when I was younger.  Classic comedy.
