Punt75 Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 I can't imagine our 2 QB's making all the throws in practice and in games. Arms get sore and injuries happen! Any ideas for a Practice Squad QB who can fill the void?? 1
Augie Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 More than soreness, I’d worry about injury and want a guy on the PS for emergencies. (The second guy doesn’t get enough reps!) Granted, Logan Thomas could be a game day emergency guy, but.... I heard Mark Schlereth say Russ Grimm was their emergency QB. THAT would have been interesting to see. 1
wppete Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 No I don’t think so. Peterman and Allen need to get as many reps in practice as possible.
Bangarang Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Allen can use all the reps he can get especially if he isn’t starting. Don’t need some scrub taking any away. 1
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 I do think it'd be good to get a 3rd guy in learning the system just in case 3
Formerly Allan in MD Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Get one. Logan Thomas need not be our last best hope if it comes down to it. 1
Wayne Arnold Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 I'd surprised if they don't bring in a young QB on the practice squad to develop through the season. I think that's what the delay is in filling out the rest of the squad.
Go-Bills Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Is EJ'S old appartment still available? LOL
Johnny Hammersticks Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 I don’t think it would be a terrible idea.
MrEpsYtown Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Maybe that Alex McGough guy they were interested in pre-draft.
BADOLBILZ Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Sure. I mean if you count the guys that don't really belong on an NFL roster it's like they have a 16 man practice squad this year. Plenty of room for a QB. 1 1

There is less time to practice and fewer throws to make (no 3rd team, no banks of WR auditioning). In the past, the Bills have not carried 3 QB, and many teams do not.
B Fan in LA Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 First choice = Frank Reich Second choice = Alex Van Pelt Somebody please call them and see if there is any interest................. Then somebody wake up Ralph Wilson and tell him to get out the checkbook.
