Hes worth a look.  Ridiculous speed and could give us Intel on ravens.  Seems to happen to us a lot so why not turn the tables.

......not quite a ringing endorsement..........

The Baltimore Ravens finally gave up hope on Breshad Perriman.

The team informed the receiver he will be released on Saturday, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. The Ravens shopped Perriman but found no takers, per Rapoport.

The former first-round pick never found his way in Baltimore. After injury wiped out his entire rookie season, Perriman struggled to find his place on the field. He dealt with drops, route running problems and never seemed to earn Joe Flacco's trust.

He didn't have a terrible preseason...11 catches for 136 yards...I doubt he makes it to 21 before someone takes a flier on him tho

He clearly doesn't know the Ravens offense....

How does one "pull a patriots?" Sign washed up receivers like Ocho, Reggie Wayne, and Decker and get praised for it?

Sign a recently released player from the opponent you're playing in the upcoming game and then cut him on Saturday after you've gotten intel.

So you're saying we should pull the old switcharoo?  Or is this more of a what's good for the goose is good for the gander?

A wide receiver with drops and route running problems. Sounds like a perfect fit.

Breshad Perriman. I remember him, a guy who could run in a straight line fast but didn't do anything else to warrant getting picked in the top 3 rounds much less the first one. Why is Ozzie so revered again?

The idea is not to sign him to play him. The idea is to sign him to use whatever he knows about the Ravens' offense and gameplan.

Two Super Bowl Rings and multiple playoff appearances should remind you why.

He has all the tools to become a legit WR in the league. Gotta hope that a change of scenery could do him some good. But it probably won’t.

He also has all the tools that make a person a tool.

So does Gugny and Bring Back Fergie but nobody is complaining about them.

I’ll keep an eye out for the guy available to us in September with great hands, speed, sharp routes and high character with a rookie contract. Stay tuned....
