So let me ask you. IF cuts were due at 4pm today. Does Foster make the tope 53 Right now. Yes or No?

Easy question. IF the cuts needed to be in at 4pm today. Does Foster make the team? Yes or No?

Easy answer.  The cuts aren't today precisely to give teams enough time to make evaluations.

It's definitely higher rated by a long shot. Georgia Tech is smaller and considerably harder to get into. I would assume that it's tech based and engineering programs were much better too. Alabama is a good school, but you're greatly overvaluing it.

Alabama Astrobotics took the top prize at the NASA Robotic Mining Competition, besting student teams from more than 50 other institutions in the challenge to build a robot capable of navigating and excavating simulated Martian soil, or regolith.

Made up of about 65 students from across eight disciplines including engineering and computer science, Alabama Astrobotics is the only team to win more than once in the nine-year history of the NASA contest, placing first in 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017 and, now, 2018.

Huh, UA engineering students won the top prize in this NASA competition 4 years running over 50 other schools.

I wonder how US news factored that in? Oh, they didn't.

This thread is off the rails.

Its going like every thread @Sky Diver starts. Just a chance for him to get on his knees to Bama. He doesnt get to just go to the college forum.

You can keep posting competitions where small subsets of elite students participate, or we can just go with the fact that Georgia Tech is ranked top 20 in the world for engineering.

Please just get over the fact that Alabama is not some Ivy League quality school. It admits over half of the applicants and you're never going to convince non-homer Bama folks. You can't even get to BAM on this board before you post some homer nonsense. This is a Bills forum and not some Roll Tide hang out.

One competition where a super small subset of students scored higher. Do you even know what the parameters of the competition were? How bout all the other thousands of engineering competitions? Spin it however you want, but Georgia Techs programs rank in the top 5 or 10 and Alabama isn't close.

Where is the spin? In a 4 yr long competition, UA engineeers outperformed GT engineers.

I didn’t bring up the academics at UA, but I’m happy to correct people who are uninformed about how good the academics are.

OK but can they run the 40 in 4.39?

No, you asked a dumb question.  My answer is posted earlier, he has to show well this coming week to have a shot to stick around.  Simple.

I really never have seen anything so strange than Sky Diver threads/replies.

How about the syntax of this sentence you just typed?

Studying Urban Meyer would be far more interesting.

The truly fascinating part is that you continue to think everyone who is a fan of a college program is just like you. Wake up.
