Mr. WEO Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Sky Diver just ran out of Kleenex. He'll have to open the sock drawer by kick-off tonight... 1
ThunderGun Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Foster over Coleman is a pretty big shock for the simple fact that Coleman was the first WR off the board in 2016, while 32 teams passed on Foster 250+ times. But when you consider the following, it’s definitely nothing earth shattering- Both offer the ability to stretch the field, but Foster has at least gotten open to draw targets. He knows the playbook, obviously has favor/familiarity with Daboll and his system. Plus I’d be willing to bet Foster was out there with 110% effort being a UDFA with zero guaranteed money, while we all know Coleman lacks the heart to be a difference maker in this league. Now the Bills get to contribute $3 million to his shoe collection.
Captain_Quint Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Good job Skydiver. You took a ton of crap, but you were right. Doesn't make you any less of a homer, but still, well played! I love an underdog, so if Foster can figure it out he could be dangerous. 1
ThunderGun Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 He could also still end up being cut sometime in the next 24-48 hours... that could definitely still happen.
Sky Diver Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Foster has a great attitude. He earned his degree and is grateful for his time at Alabama even though his career there didn’t work as he had hoped because of injuries and being overshadowed by Calvin Ridley and other great WRs. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.seccountry.com/alabama/former-alabama-wr-robert-foster-talks-disappointing-collegiate-career-combine-invite/amp Just now, ThunderGun said: He could also still end up being cut sometime in the next 24-48 hours... that could definitely still happen. If it does, someone else will grab him.

He was arguing that because he caught one out of bounds, and ALMOST caught another, the 1 reception on 10 targets was not a real statistic. 23 minutes ago, Sky Diver said: Tough to get touches when you play for National Championship teams with great players at WR. Maybe for a PS spot he was just passed over 220+ plus times-by every team. Nobody would be jumping to grab him we needed speed, he knows the playbook, So he is still here he wouldn’t have been a huge priority because most teams have decent speed at WR already, hence UDFA I thought he needed a year on PS to get bigger and stronger but we need speed Edited September 1, 2018 by Buffalo716
26CornerBlitz Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 With Deonte Thompson released by the Cowboys, Foster shouldn't get too comfortable just yet. 1
Bronxbomber21 Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 I called Foster making the team after we signed him as a fa wheres that thread

What did you say Foster’s chance of making the roster was again? I recall 0. And didn’t you say that Coleman was a stone cold lock? Edited September 1, 2018 by Sky Diver
AllenWillBust Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Yeah, he seemed to drop a lot of balls.
Seanbillsfan2206 Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Coleman didn’t want to learn the playbook and Reilly isn’t as good as people on the board think he is
MAJBobby Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 (edited) Daboll boy. Lets see what happens after waiver claims. A Gentry Claim pushes him off roster I think Edited September 1, 2018 by MAJBobby 2

CDogg20 Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 I assume he’ll be released when we bring in other players who have been cut but the familiarity with Daboll and the fact he’s got serious speed helped him. He’s always open, just can’t catch. 1
