It was worth a shot, but “ potential” only does so much in the NFL. The player has to work hard to produce at some point. I don't disagree. He must have had a terrible attitude and zero hustle in practice.

Bills had no value for him. Maybe he just sucks and isnt isn’t worth keeping around. Nothhing about his career so far suggest potential.

Give the GM something as a favor so they can save some face and not cut the guy, then turn around and cut the guy shortly thereafter.

This wasn't a favor between Beane and Dorsey. It was Beane taking a shot on Coleman for a 7th rounder in 2 years, plus salary. It didn't work out. No huge loss.

Maybe I missed a joke somewhere, but since there is no emoji, I am assuming you really think his grandfather is Jack Nicholson instead of Jack Nicklaus. ?
zow2 Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Dang, was rooting for Reilly. But have to trust the coaches on this one. I don’t see him in practice, ... maybe he’s not getting enough separation? Who knows. The rib didn’t help. Be interesting if he gets picked up by another club.

Domdab99 Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 No one is picking up Coleman for $3.5M. I bet the Bills bring him back for a lot less. 1
