The Bills are really taking a big risk, now presumably going into the season opener with a punter they maybe haven't seen in any action since December and even then it was in college. Yeah. Totally agree. They must really not like what they saw from Schmidt lately, especially because one of his two punts against the Bears was a beaut.

There are several seasoned punters who are available right now. I am guessing they see grabbing Bojorquez as a steal. I sure hope so.
BeginnersMind Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Schmidt is not good but I’d be more worried about a new punter’s effect on Haus-money than the punting game.
Ittakestime Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 I feel like the don't cut Colton till they see this kid punt. You can cut Pitts since they signed a CB 1
NewEra Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Got ourselves a new punter. I’m happy. Schmidt is bad

But again I just think it must be from college tape versus what they may have seen in a Pats practice setting. I sure hope hope he's good too. Although as you say, if he tanks there are some seasoned vets always available.

I thought we had a new punter when they signed Ryan, but that wasn’t the case. Plus, I’d like to actually see this kid punt first, and hold for Hauschka... Its clear they are not happy with CS though.

Foster and Zay i'm cool with, Holmes is trash to me unless he proves otherwise. I like Nick, but Croom to me is a upgrade.
scribo Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 (edited) Schmidt is officially gone. No look-see at the new guy in person first. Edited September 2, 2018 by scribo 1
Paulus Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 I really wonder what the Bills are doing on OL...
Steptide Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Guess Schmidt was on the hot seat. Weird. Thought he was decent Did we traleasr the other punter from Seattle?
